The windowsill planters are two pieces: the ‘pants’ are a drip tray, with plenty of soil space above that drains without spilling, leaving extra water to slowly evaporate back up into the soil as the plant needs. Those chompy monster mouths also serve as a way to water at the roots, if you have plants that are sensitive to wet leaves.
