Mugsey was born blind, so that eye he lost never bothered him much, after all. You shoulda seen the other guy!
(it was a chair)
Mugsey enjoyed ambling from a pillow on the hearth to a pillow in the dining room, and long walks to the kitchen. You never met a saltier old dog than our Mugsey.

It all began with a wedding present.
Jeremy the hound dog, he of the derpiest face in Brooklyn, needed a portrait for his mom and dad’s wedding. But it couldn’t be any old portrait; he needed one befitting his gentlemanly manner. Soon, other animals were whispering to be painted: a Pomeranian with the swagger of Bowie. A gator who might have just farted. An emu who did not know you were in here. A Weimaraner with the steely blue gaze of Cal Ripken, Jr. A one-eyed pug named Mugsey who looks damn good in a cable knit.
They kinda wanna come home with you.
